Today our reminder is about gratitude.
Our brains tend to be wired to focus on the negative and I think this is made more so with social media and the news etc. There’s lots of research and evidence to show the positive affect that gratitude has on our physical and psychological well being.
I’d like to invite you today to spend a few moments considering some things you are grateful for. Sometimes things appear negative but can actually be viewed differently. For example, I’m grateful for this heavy rain today so the plants get watered. I’m also grateful to not have any work today as I have more time to do my mindfulness practice.
