What Is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness is bringing your attention to the present moment.
We can spend a lot of time “lost in thought” about the past (which has gone and we can’t change) or the future (which hasn’t happened yet and we can’t predict). Mindfulness gives you the confidence to live and just “be” in the present moment.

There are a number of benefits to practicing mindfulness;
– Feeling more content and happy
– Being more focused, attentive and having improved memory
– Feeling more in control
– Helping with relationships with others
– Reducing cortisol (stress hormone) so helping to reduce stress or anxiety
– Feeling calmer, more resilient and caring (towards yourself and others)
– Helping a wide range of physical conditions – reducing pain and enhancing immune system…Plus many more!

These are all benefits that have been scientifically proven by neuroscience research.
