I have just seen this quote that I thought was useful to share with you;

“If you are feeling low at the moment remember this is how you *feel* not who you *are* Feelings are like temporary energy states that, when given permission to exist, like the weather, move in and out of our conscious field. There’s no point fighting your feelings because they will only scream louder until you hear them.”

This is so true. Mindfulness gives us an alternative much more helpful way of coping with difficult feelings and pain – with *acceptance* and *curiosity* by gently turning our attention towards the feelings.
