I’m sat in my mums garden at the moment (cat sitting!) and have been watching her two cats. This is an informal mindfulness practice for me so helpful to give my brain a bit of a rest from a morning of thoughts.

As well as this it’s also really interesting to just watch what the cats are doing. They’re simply wandering around sniffing flowers, eating grass then they lie down for a bit. The next moment they hear a sound and are fully focused on that. Their attention is fully in the present, moment by moment.

What a great example of what we could be like. Spending some time just *being* instead of doing . We are *human beings* after all although perhaps we could all do with being more cat!
